The aim of this Photobook is to present the visual output of the SNSF project "Mudejarismo and Moorish Revival in Europe“, directed by Francine Giese and based at the Institute of Art History of the University of Zurich (UZH). In this research project, running from 2014 to 2019, an international team of researchers examined the appropriation and reinterpretation of the Islamic heritage of al-Andalus during the Iberian Middle Ages and the global 19th century.
